We are committed to the future through Science, Knowledge, and Innovation.

On June 27th, we signed a Framework Agreement for Cooperation and Assistance with the San Francisco Regional Faculty of the National Technological University (UTN).

This agreement aims to boost the development of technological additives that:
🔬 Improve productivity in dairy farms
🐄 Promote animal welfare
🌱 Reduce the environmental impact of intensive production systems

At BIOAROMAS Latinoamericana, we firmly believe in public-private collaboration as a driving force for progress and national development.
Building strong ties with academic institutions allows us to move forward with scientific and professional support.

The event was attended by Eng. Alberto R. Toloza (Dean of UTN San Francisco), Dr. Mariana Bernard, Mr. Enrique Alfredo Vollenveider (Managing Partner at Bioaromas), and Mr. Federico Cavalli (Director of Operations).

We received a visit from a team of researchers from the National University of San Martín (UNSAM), led by Dr. Élida Hermida. We explored alternatives for carrying out joint Research and Development activities for health, animal welfare, and environmental care. Public-Private partnership is a fundamental tool for SMEs to leverage the knowledge and capacity of highly qualified professionals.

Interview with Cátedra Avícola

Adalberto Rossi from the Agricultural Poultry Chair interviews Enrique Vollenveider, Managing Partner of @bioaromaslatinoamericana:

He explains the results in animal nutrition with their product Natural Phos (Dicalcium Phosphate).

Export to Spain

We carried out the third export to Spain. We achieved a product based on research, innovation, development, production, and export.

It wasn’t magic. Being an organized, certified company, committed to its resources, its suppliers, the environment, and the customers allows for these achievements that not all SMEs and family businesses attain. I want to thank each one for their commitment and hard work. We are capable. We are a team.

We were present at the 10th Social Responsibility Toast of the Municipality of Vicente López, where companies, foundations, and civil society organizations most committed to the community and sustainability were recognized. There, we received the award as the 2022 Emerging Company for our work in social responsibility with the Virgen de Luján Community Center. Throughout this year, we shared with them the introduction to the Kaizen philosophy as a tool to help them better manage their time, efforts, and resources. We appreciate the recognition from MVL and the individuals at the Community Center whose commitment and passion enriched our meetings.

Technical talks

Researchers have discovered that the Espina Corona pod, native to northern Argentina, contains high levels of a type of saponins that can be included in pig diets, providing countless health, nutritional, and animal welfare benefits.

Having poor-quality water adversely affects productivity outcomes.

MV Gerardo Roulet elaborated extensively on this point, with particular emphasis on piglets and lactating sows.

BIOAROMAS Citrus BIOtips by MV Gerardo Roulet: Learn more about BIOAROMAS Citrus, the nutritional strategy for swine feeding. Factors such as heat stress, raw materials with unpleasant aromas, poor-quality or insufficient drinking water, among others.

Pig Farming Conference: Challenging the Limits of Productivity – Feeding a Better World

Effects of Heat Stress in Swine Production. Speaker: MV Gerardo Roulet, Technical Commercial Advisor at BioAromas Technological Additives for Animal Nutrition. He addressed how heat stress negatively affects pigs of different ages.

The maternity area is the most challenging place to manage temperature, as it houses two age groups (piglets and sow) with different thermal requirements. Nevertheless, we must not overlook the impact on breeding males. It is important to be aware of existing strategies to minimize the effect of high temperatures.

First Swine Conference: “Challenging the Limits of Productivity”

Gerardo Roulet, Veterinarian, Speaker: Water as a Nutrient in Piglets and Lactating Sows.

Water in Poultry Farming: The Super Nutrient Reversing Low Water Consumption in Intensive Productions.

The strategic value of water as a carrier of certain nutritional components.

The addition of sensory technological additives, such as flavorings, not only increases consumption but also provides nutritional and productive advantages in pigs.

BIOAROMAS LATINOAMERICANA has received approval from the international organization Eureka for its SAPCOR project, under bilateral financing between Argentina and Spain.

The Eureka platform promotes the development of R&D activities with the participation of companies from different countries.
